The window of your soul

A family received a house in a very quiet neighborhood from an elderly relative. Before their mother moved, their father and daughter went for a few hours every day to get the old things out of the house, to clean and to prepare the house as well as possible.
The first morning when they arrived at the house, the daughter noticed, looking out the window, an elderly lady spreading her freshly washed clothes on the balcony.
- Mom, look at the dirty clothes our neighbor is spreading on the balcony! Even I know how to wash better than she does! Maybe I should go learn it! Or maybe I'll tell him what soap to use
The mother looked at the elderly lady who was spreading her clothes, then looked at her daughter and said nothing.
And so, every two or three days, the daughter repeated the remarks, while the neighbor spread her clothes in the sun.
After about a month, the daughter was surprised to see that her neighbor was spreading much cleaner sheets on the wire, so she said to her mother:
"Look, she learned to wash her clothes, although I didn't have time to stop by and tell her how to do it!"
The mother looked at her with a smile and replied:
- No, today I managed to come a little earlier than you and I washed the windows of our house!
And in life the same thing often happens… It all depends on how clean is the window of our soul, the one through which we observe the deeds of others.
Before criticizing, it would be appropriate to look at ourselves and cleanse our souls so that we can clearly see what is happening around us. Then we would finally be able to see the purity of the souls of others, even if they are never perfect…
Whether "outside" is rain, wind or sun… I strive every day, as much as I can, to keep the window of my soul clean.
And no doubt… today I see much better than yesterday!
DEAR FRIENDS EVERYWHERE!
I WISH YOU A BRIGHT DAY !!
